Madeleine Jean Waterhouse
Madeleine Jean Waterhouse is a London-based photographer, printmaker and filmmaker working mainly with analogue film. Her work is rooted in spirit, memory and a belief in the magical. Through photography, she intuitively finds moments when the ordinary world feels mysterious, alive or full of meaning.
Madeleine’s practice moves between fine art, documentary and fashion. She has worked with the likes of Longchamp, Stella McCartney, Alessandra Rich and the Royal Ballet, and her photographs have appeared in Perfect Magazine, Wonderland, Rolling Stone, AnOther, Notion and Numéro.
Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in private collections. She is currently undertaking an MA in Printmaking at the Royal College of Art, where she is deepening her darkroom practice and alternative forms of photographic printing.
